At the time of the transaction, our system will review all your allowances (accounts), their balances, and the approved categories for each allowance (account). It will then deduct the funds from the allowance that permits purchases at that location.
If more than one allowance allows purchases at a particular place, the system will prioritize the allowance that's expiring first..
For example, if you have the following allowances:
Wellbeing: $50 (only allows transactions at doctors, pharmacies, and opticians)
Birthday: $30 (allows transactions at all places); expiring next month
Christmas: $40 (allows transactions at all places); expiring this month
If you make a $20 transaction at the doctor's, the funds will be deducted from your Wellbeing allowance.
If you attempt a $50 purchase at a grocery store, the system will first deduct from the Christmas allowance and then from the Birthday allowance.
